Srecna Nova 2025 Godina (pronounced “srech-na no-va dva-tisoo-che dvay-set pet go-dee-na”) is a phrase within the Serbian language that interprets to “Completely satisfied New 12 months 2025”. It’s sometimes used to greet somebody on or round January 1st of the 12 months 2025, to want them properly for the approaching 12 months.
The phrase is made up of a number of phrases: “srecna” (glad), “nova” (new), “2025” (the 12 months 2025), and “godina” (12 months). It’s customary to say “srecna nova godina” to associates, household, and acquaintances, and it’s usually accompanied by a handshake or hug. In some cultures, it’s also widespread to change small items on New 12 months’s Day.
